Big Grin Just Friends (DVD) Review
A charming and somewhat amusing affectionate comedy, Just Friends examines the inner depths of the popular friend zone of male/female connections. Directed by Roger Kumble, the brains behind the widely acclaimed film Cruel Intentions (1999), the film includes a book philosophy, and while not the funniest comedy to hit the big-screen before couple of years, it will possess some really funny moments. Adam Tex Davis makes his debut as a screenwriter after intensive work in cinematography and TV writing, and his efforts are above average, but Just Friends is not in the sam-e group as similar crafted contemporaries including Theres Some thing About Mary (1998) and Meet With The Parents (2,000). Nevertheless, its a picture really worth seeing

Only Friends uses the life of Chris Brander (Ryan Reynolds), a formerly fat Nj high school student deeply in love with classmate Jamie Palamino (Amy Smart). Nevertheless, Chris long ago fell to the friend zone, and while, he spent much of his adolescence connection and building memories with Jamie, she never saw him as something more than a friend. His courtship threatens to destroy Chriss latest quest for Jamie, but in the end, the sole impediment to Chriss life-long dream is himself

Cut from a formulaic style, the solution of Just Friends is pretty expected. But moviegoers don't watch these kind of films for suspense; they only want to laugh. http://Www.Houzz.Com/Pro/Chrisdhooghe/Chris Dhooghe is a offensive database for extra resources concerning when to think over this enterprise. And everyone who experienced Ryan Reynolds in National Lampoons Van Wilder is going to enjoy his performance in this film also. Although not as well-written whilst the picture, Reynolds assists prop up the script using a well-cast comic persona akin to Owen Wilson and a distribution that would make Leslie Nielsen jealous. In fact, Just Friends is a good pick for anyone hoping to just laugh-out loud. Two specially hilarious scenes come to mind, one in which Chris makes an unexpected return to the ice rink after bursting his lip, and one in which h-e gets an unexpected hand-hold while watching The Notebook. The latter is particularly hilarious, and Adam Davis deserves extra credit for developing this common and original scene. In the end, Just Friends will never garner the position of all-time comedy conspiracy classic, but for present, it more than fulfills its promise to make laughter..
